Look How We've Changed

We've entered back into the blogging world again and it feels good to be back! We were without internet at our home for awhile which caused the absence of blogging. It's been fun to check out everyone's blogs to see what you've all been up to. I have to admit that I've been staying up way too late the last two nights...oops. We wanted to post some updated pics of our kiddos since it has been so long! And this is just the start of some catchin up to do!

Computer troubles.....Ah!!

Yes, we have major computer troubles! That is why I have been a missing blogger for awhile. Our screen on our laptop cracked so we can't see anything on it. An awesome ward member let us borrow an extra monitor that he had so we hooked our laptop into it. But that has been a little hit and miss too. We just pray that we're lucky and it will work so we can keep up on all the important things, like blogging.......!
So if any of you know of any awesome computer deals going on right now, let us know!

Family Time

Just a quick update for ya'll. Alainey is 3 months! Wow, time sure does fly by. I think I say that in about every post, don't I...... She has started to coo at us when we talk to her. Brecken and Haylee will say, "look mom, she is talking to you." Brecken and Haylee love it when she smiles at them and they seem to get the best smiles by simply saying "Hi" to her over and over with a really cute voice. The kids got to go outside and play with the dogs the other day because it was sunny and warm! Yes! I hope it continues to get warm, I'm ready! Little note to self......summer babies are the way to go!
This family picture was just taken in December. We need to go get another one done now that Alainey has learned to smile!

Tribute to President Hinckley

I know that it has been a couple of weeks since President Hinckley passed on but I still wanted to pay tribute to him. What an amazing man, with a catching smile that made everyone feel good. Our kids absolutely adored him and loved to see pictures of him. I had a chance to meet him in Cedar City when he came to the Shakespearrean Festival. It was only a brief handshake and 'hello' but wow, what an effect it had on my life. I felt as though I had gotten a little glimpse of what heaven is like through him. Thanks President Hinckley, for your life, teachings, and love.
Here is an awesome video tribute to check out:

Alainey is 2 months!

Our sweet baby girl is two months already. She is so precious and has enriched our lives tremendously. She has started to coo when we talk to her and she smiles more regularly now. The kind of smiles that just melt your heart. Brecken and Haylee still shower her with kisses and even tell me before they go to bed that they will give Alainey kisses tomorrow. I am so happy that they love her so much. She is a wonderful baby too.
Having three kids has definitely changed our lives. The biggest change being how quickly the days fly by and also the never-ending piles of laundry! I am so happy that my older kids are always so excited to help when I ask them to go get a diaper, fold clothes, etc...

New Puppy!

Yes, we have another addition to our family! We have an 8 week old australian shepherd puppy. The kids wanted to name her Lizzy. I still can't believe I let my husband talk me into getting a puppy. (She is just too cute.....) She really is like having another toddler running around, except that she stays outside. She is so hyper and loves to play. Brecken and Haylee are my big helpers and they get the dogs their food and water. Buddy loves having another dog around to play with and Layne is going to eventually train her to help out at the auction.

Christmas 2007

Well, I am finally getting around to posting on our blog! Can you believe it! It seems like a million things have been going on since I last posted. Our family had a wonderful holiday season full of family, food, traveling, and more food! The holiday's are about the only time that I can steal my husband away from work for an extended period of time so we were gone for about two weeks. We got a bigger car before our little Alainey arrived and we still managed to fill it up. We were chuckling to ourselves on the way home because we looked like the Griswalds..........waterproof bag of luggage on top as well as a big box, stroller, and the car packed to the ceiling! Fun, Fun.
